| finally back fishing again after Op!!! Yeaaaaa!! I finally managed to get my first little session in last night. I've been feeling a lot better for the last week and the rivers have been slowly dropping for the last 3 days, so I popped down to where the Salwarpe meets the severn just outside worcester with a few lures. Despite the chocolatey consistency of the water, the river gods were smiling on me and I had a great tussle with a nice near double figure pike that finally succumbed and then as i fished up the river on my way home and banked a lovely feisty little jack which hit my lure like an  bull. I even had time to watch the firey orange sunset spread across the fields like a can of spilled paint. magic.will try to post some photos later and claim my 1.5 points for the saucy minnows!!     |

 seriously though yes it does!! and good luck this season..I'm a Hibs fan so I know what it's like to support a team managed by Tony Mowbray...exciting and frustrating in equal measure... Martis won't be a good signing for you though I'm afraid..nice bloke and a good defender, but prone to lapses in concentration and poor distribution. |
