Havnt been freshwater fishing in a while so might be a bit rusty.

Didnt have a bad day really, was a very hard lake to fish dont think many people fish it.
Couldnt get anything to take off the bottom all carp were taken of the surface on chum mixer.
Lovely looking lake in the middle of nowhere didnt see a sole all day.


Carp was the only fish caught today nothing else was playing ball, was hoping for large roach or tench as i know they are in there.
Heres two carp i caught out of about fourteen.


And the biggest of the day not bad as i was using 4lb line lol.

nice catch you got there and a lovely looking lake, how big is it?

if it's as under-fished as you think there could be 1 or 2 large pike in there, as they thrive on neglect and seem to grow large where tench are present.

your lucky to have a quiet water to yourself these days, best keep it to yourself
