Hotwater strecth, Lanesboro Ireland

Hi

Went out about 3 weeks ago to the prolific hot water strecth( Or in This case not so prolific ). I went down to Lanesboro from County Down (3 hours drive) expecting a great days fishing for bream and tench on the river shannon. Arrived at swim at 8 o clock with a few other anglers. As usual the hot water was being pumped in. So everything was great.

5 hours later i was already packed up and away.I ended the day with a whopping a bag of 4 4oz perch!!! Well the only consolation was that no one around me was catching either so it is not just me after all.

After this headed home but stopped in enniskillen to have a fews casts with a lure on Lough Erne, and you guessed it i blanked. Well no surprise there .
