| Quicky Managed to blag the day off work today, so thought I would get out for a few hours to finally get some points for the hunt. Down to a local lake and just fished maggot, hoping for anything and everything. The fish were very obliging, and with my first 3 casts, I had 3 different species. Roach  Rudd  and Perch  Also, managed 2 other species which aren't actually on the list. Golden Rudd  and what I'm 99% sure is an Ide  Well, a cracking day to be out and get some points (although it was quite cold). | Re: Quicky Nice to see an Ide in the UK. was fishing in finland last summer and caught some crackers up to 2lb while lure fishing for Perch and Zander. They gave a pretty good account of themselves on my light travel spinning rod too!! Felt very strange to be catching such "roach-like" fish with a plug! |
