right got up there about 7 am my step dad had to drive from bath so thought would go be later ,,as it happens we where the first there apart from 1 who was setting up as we got there ,,all the usal bait ,worm ,maggots ,bread ,doggys ,corn ,and what ever else in my bait bag,was a bit of frost about so was cold start ,there was 5 of us togehter all had the bottom end of middle lake ,,first carp came within 1st hour for me about 5lb then went very quite ,apart from bob my step dad was on pole and was nostop on silvers ,calib my mates son lost 2 good carp shame for him ,then wayne had a 9lb carp out of reeds ,dave my other mate went to catching silvers with bob ,then started to top abit so out came doggys ,i had 3 carp to dogs about 5 to 6 lb wayne had another about 6lb to dogs ,calib had a carp about 6lb also alot of silvers all in all not a bad day was qiute ,the carp where just basking in the sun and not eating was very hot today ,got very sun burn which i will pay for later when bed time ,,shall be going to combe in kingsbridge monday and will let you know how is goes there ,tight lines all ,oh yeah we came home at 3.30pm
