| last chance on the rivers for 3 months With the closed season nearly upon us, and the weather not looking too bad I have decided to have a little session down at Lords walk Saturday and have a go at the Grayling, trout and Minnows I now are there, I will walk the river before I finally make my mind up first thing and if it is not too coloured from the recent rain I will have a few hours flicking the maggot on the Hampshire Avon. Hopefully a restful day will bring me a few more species points. Has anyone else got any plans for the last weekend of the season??? Mike     |

| Re: last chance on the rivers for 3 months Just walked the river and it is over the banks, full of mud and rubbish and running like a train. Mission aborted! Guess I will have to make do with a full fry up and go car hunting today, may go somewhere tomorrow, like the canal or a fishery. |

| Re: last chance on the rivers for 3 months hey Mag, got 2 beachcasters and a boat rod, so shore fishing is something I also do, but we still have lakes and canals in the close season, so I will not miss out fishing, just have to do a different style. |
