Neil Mackellow parts company with Penn

Just read on another forum that he was pushed from Penn, and has been replaced by Mike Thrussel who writes for TSF magazine. Neil is a great guy. I wonder if the 525's and the Penn Evo rods would have been as good without his input. Will this be the first step in the demise of pure quality?

...apparently, Penn have been taken over by shakespear!!!! (?)....Thats good, quality Penn reels down the swanny!!! (the rods are crap anyway!)
