Plod is on a distinguished road
Re: Branscombe/MSC Napoli Update

The latest discussion in the local press is that they sink it where it is and make an artificial reef. I have seen a flaw in their plan though, it's already on the bloody bottom!!!
The local council are suggesting that the bridge and crew deck is cut off, and the hull sunk in situ. I am presuming that they aren't really that dense and are planning on towing it out a suitable distance to deeper water in order to submerge it fully.
Dave, must meet up again soon, it must have been 8 months since I last wet a line. Shame on me!!!

Regards, Darren

Re: Branscombe/MSC Napoli Update

well she was pumped out and floated 500m further offshore monday ,
divers then checked her and discovered a 3m gash in hull (she was effectivly held together by the deckplates ), so today she is moving west and further back inshore to be beached again, at least shes empty now and ready to be dismantled
fishing there tommorrow night so will hope to get a better photo as she will be closer to shore

the saga goes on
