Agree Catch & release 20cm rule is good .... weight conversion though

Gear in water is good as well ...

Naked through West quay - thats no punishment, isnt that what normally happens in Scumpton on a Sat night ?

Depends on the date .... Hayling does 'die off with calm weather but should be an influx of Plaice March April time I hope !

Rules, all sound fine to me.

Bring it on, after watching Saints romp to a 2-1 victory last night against the might of Sheffield Wednesday, I'm feeling rather optimistic, although after a few pints of Post Match IPA that optimism may well be wind. Good old Greene King!

The rules seem ok to me , must have catch & Release but maybe inculde a points system for under size fish ( As the quay is full of pout and whitting)

You could do but must use the KISS principal IMHO .... dont want to end up arguing over rules etc but be good to see how many we win by

Could do a size/weight conversion but means you have to record everything and then convert - have got all the conversion charts but takes half hour or so to work out at the end ..... points system - could have 1 point per undersize fish - say 20cm (the norm in comps) and then 1 point per cm over that (Eels would not count except for an agreed points value - say 5 points) .... here I go - so much for the KISS principal

We could just have a fight at the end - winner takes all

I reckon just go by length,any fish over 20cm counts bar eels,under 20cm i point as Rob has said.
Cant see the point in converting length to weight
