| what are your targets hopes for 2007 ok so its a new year what are everyones hopes and targets for this year can do freshwater here as well as dont want to double post sea get into the ray and smoothound earlier in season   get my first mullet (wasted days trying again this year  )get my first cod (must put in more time here as cant say really tried) a flounder from the exe (as didnt get one at all last year) and more consistent on the bigger bass as well freshwater get more consistent on the pike a decent chub not just minnow sized a wild brown trout(failed all this year again) not to blank in france so basically wish to waste less bait by catching more consistently got quite alot to beat from 2006 as had so many new species and PB's last year but cant wait to try  dave __________________ www.exmouthsaa.co.uk 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day simples You won't know unless you go :D...and if you do go!! please let us know :D as thats how the forum thrives     |

| Re: what are your targets hopes for 2007 Sea My first bass, mullet and cod (any size will do!) Freshwater First barbel, first double of any species and my first trout on the fly for 20 years. I'm easily pleased!!! |

 Re: what are your targets hopes for 2007 This Year i hope to catch my first Barbel,20lb carp and catch over a 100lb in a pleasure session. I would also like to fish either Sweden or Denmark, but not on my own. Try some sea fishing, but it will have to be from the shore, Tried a boat once, never again i was so ill and finally learn how fly fish. __________________ Born to fish made to work |

| Re: what are your targets hopes for 2007 Sea A decent Bass must be top of the list. A Bass of any size on a plug. A smoothy of any size. A Cod of any size. Fresh A decent trout on the fly. A double figure pike on a lure. Hmmmm,  , 6 "wants" for the year then. I'll be pleased with 4! __________________ Right then, checklist: Rods. Check. Reels. Check. Speckled Hen. Check. Bait…… BAIT! | Re: what are your targets hopes for 2007 mine is to bag a double figure bass (same every year !! i also want to catch a big brill or turbot so have booked a fishing holiday in alderney and hope to catch both in same trip __________________ obsessed is a word used by the lazy to describe the dedicated .. species hunt team winner 2005 and 2006..with old smoothy.. |
