Fisherman 1 Windsurfer 0

Fishing on Hayling with GW this morning (report to follow !) Started to get busy with windsurfers so thought would give it one more chuck and then go.

Threw out a cast about 20 yards looking for these Big Bass. Then one of these idiots on his toy came charging across about 10 yards in front of me. Caught the line and took the rods/rest down into the surf. Grabbed the gear - rods were fine but had snapped my rod rest

Grabbed my camera and took a pic of him – packed away my gear and went back down to find him .... waited 2 hours (bloody mad) for him to come back and told him just what I thought of him and told him to cough up (after taking an other photo of him as well) He told me where to go so I called the local bobbies who came down and made the twat pay me £25 as a ‘financial gesture’

I know I'm nuts but why should they get away with it !

Re: Fisherman 1 Windsurfer 0

Nice one Rob, as you say why should they get away with it?
He could have been really unlucky and broke my rest and then had swimming lessons with the Bass!

Re: Fisherman 1 Windsurfer 0

Well done on being calm enough to call the law, I would have been tempted to see what a 6 oz gripper lead swung heavily into a surf board would do.

LOL, way to go Maghouse. Good for you mate. Had the same trouble with a speedboat & water skier on the river Trent a few years back. Filled his boat with Sloppy Groundbait & Maggots.......
