| Boat Trip Next Year Hi all, With the New Year looming and the Charter Skippers putting out their new schedules, how about another trip from the South Coast. I was thinking of a charter out of Dover, rather than a deep sea trip from Portsmouth. From Dover there is no need for a two hour boat trip before hitting the fish and from March onwards there is quite a lot of good size fish about. Your views would be appreciated. I am looking at "Great Escape" Great Escape - Skipper: Chris Bray - Port: Brighton I have fished from this boat on numerous occasions and have found both the skipper and boat first class. The boat fishes 12 in comfort but I would be looking for 8 minimum with a maximum of 10. The cost will depend on numbers, Weekend boat hire is £450 per day with the weekday rate dropping to £380. Fishing would be drifting either rough ground or wrecks. In all my years fishing with Chris I have never blanked and always had fish into double figures. Please let me know as soo as possible if you are interested, Chris is a very popular skipper and his dates, both weekends and weekdays go quickly. | Re: Boat Trip Next Year Drew I may be interested just depends oin the timing really - it appeals because I cant be arsed to sit on a charter boat and steam out for 2 hours - Id rather just get outi n an hour and start fishing ! Actually forgot to add that my old man would probably be up for it as well !! Can you keep me updated please or Ill at least check the forum.
