| Fish base Hi guys, Long time, no posting, but I have a request for all you anglers. My wifes uncle is Marine Biologist and he is involved with an internet research project called FishBase, some of you may know this website already. They are asking fisherman from all over the world to add their catch pictures to their database as they wish to compile a huge resource on fish stocks, sizes, location etc. Can I ask all of you that have pictures of your catches, it doesn't matter from when, to go along to http://www.fishbase.org, click on the FishWatcher link, create an id and add in your images. There is also a section where you can add catch data (size, location etc.). This is a superb project that has information outputs to many organisations working to protect the worlds depleting fish stocks. How about adding a link to your favourites list and as you get new images pop along and add it to the db. It doesn't take long and will be a real valuable addition to their records.
