Re: Lugworm?. Just used single hooks myself. Caught plenty of species; Codling, whiting, pout, dabs, plaice, flounder, weevers and rockling. __________________ Dan `·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸ Big or small, look after them all! ¸.·´¯`·.¸ ><((((º>

Re: Lugworm?. same, i use a single hook, with a stopknot as a bait stop above any beads you may have. and i have caught quite a few on it, pretty much the same as dan lol __________________ "Alright Jack, we all ready to fish?" "Yeah!" "Did you bring the rods?" "Errmmm...."

Re: Lugworm?. I would say it depends on how big a bait your usin single hook usualy but if your using loads at a time then a pennell will be better __________________

Re: Lugworm?. i use 2 hook pennel with the lug threaded up your line with a strip of squid on the bottom hook this stops your lug from falling off . on the top hook i put a whole small squid to target cod in the bristol channel. __________________ fishing is fishing if you catch anything it,s a bonus

Make sure you use a bait needle with Lug Dan, or all the juices leach out in no time... Great bait though. Most species will have a go at it. Try stuffing a whole Squid with a few & lashing it up with bait elastic sausage style. __________________ Don't Judge My Path If You Haven't Walked My Journey...

Re: Lugworm?. try tipping it of with small bits of macky and small hooks size 2 the smallest on a three hook cliped down small lug best for this, great for whiting you can get a full house if you leave it long enough and dont strike at your first bite.
