| help req with pics hi chaps, most of you are probably fed up with computer no brains like me asking the same question on posting photos. i get to the part where it says that the pic is to big then my brain hurts. could some one please tell me how to downsize piccies?. sorry to be a pain but need this facility in anticapation of all the cod i am going to catch this winter ( i wish ) plugger  __________________ if at first you dont succeed buy a boat. peter     |

| Re: help req with pics You need a programme to resize them,Microsoft ..Picture it 9 ,is great.......if you have windows XP you can use windows picture manager to resize them.Just right click on the pic and open with picture manager,select the edit icon on the rightand resize. i`m sure Pingu uses a cool one too. __________________ Mike..  Re: help req with pics Most digital Cameras come with the software to resize pictures too. When you click on picture size it will give the dimensions in pixels. For example 2786 X 1845. Just delete the larger number & type in 500. The other number will resize automatically. This will give you a picture size that is acceptable to post. | Re: help req with pics I use Microsoft Photo Premium 10 to reduce all my photos. (Came with XP Plus I think) but any photo suite will let you resize. I normally take the photos in 1m megapixel on the camera then reduce to around 600 pixel size on Photo premium. This size I find is ideal to fit in a post without having to scroll the page (if that makes sense). I then use imageshack to host the photo and post the link ! Easy !!!! you will soon get used to doing it, took me a while to sus it out ... |
