| Just how many of you anglers do have there gear insured? I used to but the company no longer do tackle insurance. Had a quick look on the net and a company called tackleguard have some good quotes. £55 for a year for £2500 worth of gear but i was filling in all the info and they want you to list every item of tackle you have. I would of been there a couple of weeks. Just wondering if anyone else use a decent company that you dont have to list every item. |

| Re: Tackle Insurance? OMG ,what a loss , but i will tell you this , while travelling my daily boring route from havant to southampton , (work), 1 day i saw a rod and multiplier on the verge of the fast lane that a27 meets m27 west bound, always traffic chaos and at a stand still , but for three days the traffic was flowing freely so every day i passed this rod and reel , hoping for a jam lol to reach out and grab it lol , but nothing , then the 4th day YES !!!! traffic chaos , got to the spot and it had gone !!!!!!!! gutted ,cheers lee. __________________ If Everyday things are getting you down & stressing you out, Think like a Dog, If it cant be Eaten or Humped, Piss on it and walk away.. |

| Re: Tackle Insurance? Im insured for £7000 Got kit nicked once many years ago and boy you just do not know how much kit you have untill you have to buy it all again - just think of simple things like hooks ect then add rods reel ect and you can be up to a few K straight away Now the amount is high but I do both fresh and sea covering all aspects of both , and Ive been fishing mad since I was six One thing to check is to make sure that your kit is covered in your car plus what the insurance regards as a safe locked location. | Re: Tackle Insurance? I've seen PlanktonBoy's gear, and to be honest it's not worth nicking, I've got the best bits already, including his brand new fold up landing net that he left in my car on saturday! All the rest of the his gear came from Woolies! |
