Fishing in Brest

Ive got to go and visit the French CDs in Brest in a couple of weeks,i m going for a week and was wondering if anyone new what the fishing is like??
The coastline looks as if it could be a bit like Cornwall ,any info much apreciated,cheers.

Never fished France mate. If it's rocky like Cornwall, I should think that a light Bass rod & handfull of plugs & lures should see you through. I would imagine you would pick up the usual species like Bass, Pollack & Gars. As it's further south i expect the mackies will still be there & you might get a few exotic local species too.
