watch out for weevers and things in them

i aint got none because i havnt got transport so i will never be able to go to them plus i dont like walking on the mud and mud is the only place you can put them down here (its the sinky stuff btw)

seen lots of people get stuck and 1 person nearly died

Thanks mate - there aint no mud in Exmouth round the rocks - is that still likely to attract them ? I can see it would be a problem trying to get to your traps without a car !

I find no point in putting traps down the beach as like i said before you will find them
under the rocks anyway!! and as you say the ground on the beach aint like the deep
mud that you get up the rivers is it? Try just looking under the rocks and if you find
some then keep it quiet in your area....cause before you know it there will be loads of
peeps doing your patch!! The amount of people who start to think that they own a
part of a beach is unbelievable!! They get quite agrresive down my way!! lol thats why
me and my mate have well i would say a few but i would be lieing!! cause we have loads
of traps up our local river and we take it in turns in going to check them!

some of you know what the river banks look like when they are being targeted but
i will try and take a pic of mine sometime when i start going up there!! it wont be long

its very rare that peelers feed mate!! the only ones i know that do are the spider crabs!
yes mate you have to peel them first and the fresher the beter! the time to peel them is
after they have poped this is when the shell starts going up its back!! it should peel easy
like that!

Yes you can use the hard backs for bass and smoothies but they aint as good!!!
all you need to do is sucure them to the hook with some bait elastic and there you go
Job done  well thats what i do anyway!!
