| Re: double hooks Hey Kevin, I was shown a nifty little trick one time I was out boat fishing for bass. Drew (another forum member) showed me that 2 hooks can be snelled together to make a double. This is obvious when you think about it, but too obvious to think of if you know what I mean......... Anyway, I've quickly knocked one up with 2 limerick match hooks (wide gape offset aberdeens) so you'll see the idea, though they don't sit flush like two normal aberdeens (or any other normally set hooks) would. I use them for livebaiting mackerel for bass on the boat, but they are ideal for bottom fishing with decent size baits: __________________ ><((((((*> ><((((((*> ><((((((*> trailer cleaning |

| Re: double hooks or when your fly fishing for salmon, they have some double hooks with the fly... maybe you can buy the double hooks seperately from a fly fishing place..? but the only probely it may rust, and it would be quite small. |
