| Reason for lack of mackerel ... I think iv found the reason! every time iv been anywhere part from local pier iv seen a seal and i reckon thats why theres not many macky about was 1 up berry head today so i blame him for not catching much __________________     |

| Re: Reason for lack of mackerel ... nah it aint him... i fished 11 hours yesterday at a mark i know produces bass with live prawns and didnt get a bite! never mind a fish! then switched over onto the bottom for a hour after dark and fished sandeels mackeral and squid and not even a dogfish! with regards to the seal if the one at berry head is the beast im thinking of he is huge! and you can catch mackeral and handfeed them to him just hold the fish by its tail dip the head in the water and give it a waggle he will come right up and take it out of your hand... (just be careful he doesnt take your hand too!  ) __________________ fishing for fish is not as simple as you may think! |
