I havnt seen so many about down here this year , last year we were plagued
or am i just lucky/(unlucky in comps)so far

another sea species i,ve never seen or caught obviously i,ver seen pics but never caught one .
are they common all the way round the coast or are they localto certain area,s ?

Weve had a lot of dogs here on the south coast,
beginning to middle of july ,
they are getting scarse now off the beaches !!!!
im not sure about the boats though ....

Its been a pretty quiet year for the doggies in the Bristol Channel......

we've had more than usual along the south east coast. it's a good job really coz there hasn't been much else to catch. LOL

they're moving off now though, leaving even less to catch. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

i havnt had more than 1 in a nite this year which is very rare

o wel hopefuly it gives the better fish (ray :P) enough time to find the bait before the dogs av it

sayin this though ... there seems to be loads! of pout about

They get a few off Norfolk beaches, but they aren't really a common species I don't think. Squid head off Cromer Pier is what I heard. That was a while back though, they've probably gone by now.
