| Re: smutt season! well im sort of into doing brighton marina east arm on the sand bank as last weekend i had a 7 and a mate had a 10 1/2 lber! loads of peeling spiders too! maybe middle of next week or the following weekend! you up for it mate? always a good chance of a big bass off ther too! __________________ SCUPPER A COMMERCIAL TOOOO DAY! |

| Re: smutt season! Yea i am ,ive got 4 weeks off work and ive nearly finished the misses s list of jobs so i must be due a pass. Can you get your hands on any of them spiders? | Re: smutt season! mentined in the shout box im having a quicky monday just to stock up on the peeler and freeze em down! but its easy enuff just to yous the drop net and pick em up as you go! any sugestions on the tipe of tide would be best? it was about 5.5 last sat! the next half decent tide is next tue 8th at 23:27, 5.7m and they get bigger and later as we go on through the week! wot you recon mate? p,s dont worry about it being crowded, nobody can be assed to walk down to the productive bay 30s and the sandy patch! __________________ SCUPPER A COMMERCIAL TOOOO DAY! |

| Re: smutt season! No - not for over a week - getting withdrawal symptoms !!! Fished Haslar Wall Sat & Mon evening - 1 mackerel on feathers .... over 1lb though so not too bad. Monday tried some big hooks/baits - squid near the gatehouse but nothing ... Likely try Eastney this weekend again ... |
