Quick Braid question!!!!!

What do you use the sinking braid and the floating braid for? What's the best for lure fishing??

Thanks!!

Re: Quick Braid question!!!!!

Hi Hooked,

You do not state what type of fishing you do, boat or shore.

As a charter fisherman, I've been using braid from Braid Direct now for a number of years. I would normally use 30lb for general fishing i.e. wrecking or downtiding and reduce that to 14lb for lighter work.

If you can be a little more specific with your question I will try and give you a more precise answer.

I have never encountered floating braid, where have you seen it advertised? I don't think that it would be in any way beneficial to a boat angler.

Cheers

Drew

Re: Quick Braid question!!!!!

Sorry, spinning from the shore, I'm just browsing e-bay and there are lots of different types (lots of them are for Carp anf fly fishing). Just don't want to go and buy something totally unsuitable, would this be ok for Bass spinning:

Thanks for any help!
