| Check This out - Knife and Fork Lures We got a new set of cutlery the other day and rather than throw the old ones away I put them in the workshop. I stood there looking at them and realised that they would make excellent lures for bass and mack. I cut a few up and drilled some holes and added split rings and hooks etc. After a good polishing with Autosol and the Dremmel they turned out like this. Do you think the flowery engraving will help or put the fish off??? Each one took me less than 10 minutes with just a hacksaw, file, drill and the Dremmel. I am working on some gorgeous metallic blue ones by heating them to cherry red after polishing then letting them cool. Now looking for a serious lure fisher to test them for me. I'll be out this week with them to see if they work, but I always blank anyway so I need someone who can catch fish to test them!!!!! | Re: Check This out - Knife and Fork Lures Maybe they will be for sale once I have done lots of fishing in the name of research and development. Probably a couple of quid each. My boy wants to go testing tomorrow so off to the Fleet then. Jon ![]() PS - Why didn't my picture show in the message? Is it too big or something? __________________ Portland Jon Anyone can catch 'em when they are there. It's catching 'em when they are not there that's the hard part.
