high tides

just wanted to no say it is high tide at 12 oclock what would be the best time to actually start fishing and how long after 12 could you go on till many thanks ken

Re: high tides

they say the genaral rule is 2 hours up and 2 hours down. But you must remember that every venue is different and high tide is sometimes unfishible. also some venues only fish at low water. talking to the tackle shops and trying different tides and heights is the best way to find out.

tj is right ken,if you are thinking about hampton,it can fish up to 4 hours after the tide,
i caught a codling there a couple of years ago in about 2 foot of water.

Hi ken,
tj is right , we have a couple of venues here in southampton that you can fish any time of the day or night low water or high water,
some of my best nights fishing has been maggy lane at low water.!!!!!!!!!.
