Re: any ideas on trapping live prawn?

I used to catch them by walking a landing net along the sides of pontoons and moorings.
If you run the net through the growth on the side you should get a few.
I now get them from the saltwater lake were i work, its full of them, although i very rarely use them.
Maybe i should

Re: any ideas on trapping live prawn?

I've got a mate thats got a boat in ramsgate marina and we just attach the pots to the pontoon and let them hang mid water, good for hounds up our way as well as the bass. The chap that mentioned the plaice frames is spot on, your local fishmonger should be able to help (if the potting boys haven't nicked it all for pot bait!!). We've started seeing them in our lobster alot at the mo. The clearer the water the better, and i believe neap tides help.
