| now that ive given up the ciggies im saving myself about a tenner a day so have decided to buy a new fixed spool reel for spinning/plugging and some light beach work,. i have narrowed it down to the shimano bait runner aero gte or the grauvell tuareg z5000 and wondered if anyone uses either of these reels!! what are the good points and the bad !! your opinions apprieciated ... __________________ obsessed is a word used by the lazy to describe the dedicated .. species hunt team winner 2005 and 2006..with old smoothy.. |

| Re: new fixed spool Hi Kev, I did a quick review of the Aero 6000 GTE a while back, you can see it here Like Rich says, probably a bit heavy for lure fishing, but could be good for light ledgering on the beach.
