new fixed spool

now that ive given up the ciggies im saving myself about a tenner a day so have decided to buy a new fixed spool reel for spinning/plugging and some light beach work,. i have narrowed it down to the shimano bait runner aero gte or the grauvell tuareg z5000 and wondered if anyone uses either of these reels!! what are the good points and the bad !! your opinions apprieciated ...

shimano bait runner aero

Have just got the 8000 and its is super smooth but as its a bait runner its quiet heavy mate. Not sure on the other

I did a quick review of the Aero 6000 GTE a while back, you can see it here

Like Rich says, probably a bit heavy for lure fishing, but could be good for light ledgering on the beach. Very smooth and good drag system

dont see need for baitrunner facility though(as rich said just adds weight) so would be more tempted by the gravell

i got a shimano XSA 8000 its great super smooth i would highly recomend it
