Re: artificial baits

havnt used either mate! but had alot of success with rapalas
and dexter wedges, total off diffrent species on the dexter! bass, macky, gar, gurnard, pollock, bream!
tuff lures cast well, and last forever (if you dont snag it)
have total faith in them!

Re: artificial baits

When we fished selsey the other night my mate was using gulp crab,he didnt catch anything but niether did i with peeler.
I have heard reports of it fishing well but i d have to see it to believe it ,they look a bit like plastic crabs that your kids play with and smell funny

Talking Re: artificial baits

I've heard that ther'e a good way to clear a crowded beach. Just open a packet & the stink drives every one away.... Not sure about their fish catching potential though.

Re: artificial baits

I've used it for several years now,I think its GREAT!!!!! I believe its made just a few miles north-east of me, in Spirit Lake Iowa.
If I were running out the door, and had No time to buy or collect bait and I was stuck w/1 bait.......I'd grab a jar of Red extruded Night crawlers ( http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/te...gulp&noImage=0 ) Everything I fish for has been caught, at least once, on it. Frogs and turtles even nip at it.
I've never seen the salt water stuff w/the blue label, up close. If its as good as the red label, fresh water stuff, its great.

Good Luck

Re: artificial baits

I think it's designed to catch more anglers than fish.

Has anyone ever tried Lincolnshire Peeler, if so what was the result?
