Question Mackerel Parasites?

Just finished gutting the mackerel that I caught yesterday at Chesil. The body cavity of one of the largest was stuffed with small curly worms, which I assume were some sort of parasite. Anyone else seen anything else like this? The fish looked healthy enough.

Re: Mackerel Parasites?

Ive seen a lot of worms in fish, especialy larger cod.
I think as Pingu as said they dont harm you ,they can even add a different taste and texture to the fish

Tsk tsk,

I personally wouldn't go near a worm if it had been near a fish - alters the taste somewhat.
