Hey guys, got tomorrow off full tank of petrol. Boat not ready for a day out so need a shore destination for some plugging/spinning.
Anywhere in the south west. where can i get my first bass of the year?

The old dears caught 14 good sized makeral on Saturday just off Sandy bay just before low water so they are back - at least for a few weeks anyway !!

Looking to arrange a load of dates for meeting up - our new boat is in Exmouth and we went to the Skerries last week and got a couple of decent plaice. Work is more in our own hands now so looking to arrange a load of dates where we can meet you and all storm off to the good marks for bassing etc.

What a lovely day to spend at Portland chucking ragworms and hermit crabs at underwater tackle stealers.
had a really great day....got a good tan but no fish. Who cares? great day off.
Got to take youngest daughter to the zoo next week but am up to taking the ageing Nimue off her mooring for a day after the fish the week after. Will look up tides and weather and let you know. Tommy, will pm you new mobile and email. I've got to take boat out much more this year as last year was a personal disaster. Need to get some big bass. Well done on the Skerries...not been there myself even though I'm closer. Are you on a drying mooring? I am and it does kind of dictate when you can fish. got crew sorted though...animal Dill will be the main man again. Look forward to fishing with you this summer.
