keep sea fishing clean

everybody i speak to WHO FISHES feels the same way about all the old lines, hooks and old bait that is left behind after they fish, we should take our old bait etc...home and not leave it for the next lot of anglers in the same spot to have cleaN UP. OUR COASTS ARE GREAT IT WOULD BE A SAME TO SPOIL IT AND GIVE SEA ANGLERS A BAD REPUTATION.
ANY COMMENTS WOULD BE GREAT

CHEERS ENJOY YOUR CLEAN FISHING

Re: keep sea fishing clean

Hi lark 110% got to be adhered to,one of our best fishing spots down here locally is magazine lane, deep water venue, great clean fishing mark,to those who want it to be!!.but a lot of development has appeared around this area . And people who buy these houses (mainly flats) 225K ? dont want to be woken up early hours of the morning to the sounds of BELLS RINGING . Its common sense , be polite, take any mess home ,THERES A BIN AT THE CAR PARK,keep noise down, and dont gut fish or prepare bait in front of people(they dont always understand).! Its a simple life!!!!!!!!!

Re: keep sea fishing clean

i to agree with keeping them tidy there is no excuse for leaving bait rappers or tackle ( hooks, line ) on the beach where i went last night there is a bin in the car park .
i picked up a couple of other papers and a bag from the spot i was fishing i would hate to see what there houses look like

Re: keep sea fishing clean

Here here with all those comments before hand. The council have imposed restrictions on the pier at Penarth because of unscrupulous fishermen (or fisherpeople to be politically correct). Pendulum casting from the pier, leaving rubbish behind and cutting bait on the seats....whats all that about???? Who do these people think they are??

Re: keep sea fishing clean

Theres always the mindless few that spoil it for the majority,i`m speechless on the boat sometimes ,they`ve got a 3`x4` stainlesss table and they still use the Gunwales and the deck to cut up bait and gut fish. Then they are suprised and sometimes a bit offended when i point it out to them (politley of course)........Some people have no respect or is it no sense at all.....
