| Re: scales???? If you are a boat person, avoid digitals. They are too sensitive, its almost impossible to get a stable reading on a moving boat. Steve |

| Re: scales???? Hi Rorkes Drift, You don't say what you specialise in, sea or course? Is accuracy important? If you are like most of us and just want a rough idea to the nearest pound, then I would suggest that you go for a cheap set of spring sales. I use the Super Samson, they are not accurate by any manner of means but if I have a decent fish they give me a rough idea of the weight. If you have a reckord fish then you would have to have it weighed properly to claim that reckord. All in all, the choice is yours, but remember what Steve has said, and I echo his thoughts, "Sea Water" will rot anything that it comes into contact with. Go for a cheap set that you can rinse off with tap water and dry in the airing cupboard after every trip.
