| rigs to venue ok its me fresh water thinking coming into play but i bet it does matter . now when i go fishing on the river and i,m swim feeding i will lengthen or shorten my hooklink depending on the flow ,so with that in mind when i,m on the beach and the tide is coming in or going out will you adjust the hook length accordingly . now again when fishing a two hook set up i,m assuming that hook length are determined by the length of the rig body size so if you are using a two hook set up and you get a strong tide pulling would you change to a one hook set up so you can vary the hook length so it whaffs about in the water or would you just step up on lead size to try a nail every thing to one spot . tightlines sea fledgling ![]() |

| Re: rigs to venue If you gound for the bottom feeders then you need to make sure that your bait is nailed to the floor so nothing over 3 foot IMO As for flappers then it a bit trial and error 6 to 24 inches Im sure someone else will chip in __________________ Richard|Sea Fishing |Carp Fishing| Spud Gun | Zander fishing | Fishing Reports | Hunting Reports |
