| area reports..... just thought i would let you know whats been going on around my local area over the last couple of weeks just in case anyone is planing a trip down hear soon! Worthing sussex......... been a few fish over the last couple of weeks, the good news is the hounds are just starting to show but only small pups caught from goring and east Preston apart from one of 14lb caught on mack over shoreham! there has also been stacks of doggies in the dirty water and the odd sizable flounder. over the last couple of days worthing pier has produced plenty of gars which will be around for ages now so if anyone wants a good garring session i would suggest getting down there with your light gear as im sure you wont be disappointed! also heard yesterday that there was a bass of around 9lb caught and returned from goring! so all in all the fishing down my way is picking up again so its almost time for me to get my rod out again!!! good luck peeps and it would be nice to hear whats going on around your areas  Ollie.     |

| Re: area reports..... southampton way is picking up as well bass and mullet are in the harbours/esturies bass are on the beach's, i have heard of a 9lb and afew slightly smaller 1s afew pups have been caught and there are larger 1s being taken on boats just off shore now rays are being caught apparently im sure its only a matter of time befor the rest of the summer fish turn up, could be the start of a good year! __________________ Bens The Name And Catchings The Game Anti the Anti's |

| Re: area reports..... Sounds like things are picking up all over mate!! Am going crabbing this week in the evenings so hopefully i should be able to get myself some nice bait for when the smuts turn out in big numbers, also the stingers should be in soon down my way so hope to get a session or two in for them also. |

| Re: area reports..... few local reports from me......... river adur....few mullet showing Climping.....few stingrays have been reported including 2 x 30lbers lost 1 x 20lb and 1 x 14lb 8 caught and weighed!! and there just the ones that i know of! selsey West beach and pagham.....very hit and miss on the smuts but theres a few that Ive heard of but nothing really big (bit early maybe) selsey point......smuts dogs flounders and a few decent size bream being caught at the moment but your have to time the tide right and hope there's not to much weed as the tide runs really fast!!
