Greetings from Sweden/Denmark.

Hello everyone,i m out in Denmark at the moment having just spent the last 10 days in Sweden.
I arived to find thick snow and the fjords frozen over solid so so much for the diving.On the first day i awoke to find the frozen water covered in locals ice fishing,i m having some of this i thought as ive never done any ice fishing.So armed with a couple of carp rods a ventured out onto the ice,it was really wierd to walk over 60 metres of water.Anyway i borrower an ice drill off a friendly local and set to work making a couple of holes.
Bait was a small piece of herring on hokai lures,no big casts here just plop it down the hole and try to keep warm.
I had plenty of small whiting and then late on finished off with a nice Haddock of about 2lb which i was well chuffed with.
I only got out the once as the temp rose and the thaw started,the locals where still out there but i was being a wimp and didnt fancy an icy death
Anyway i m now in Denmark and will try to wet a line here if i have chance,cheers.
PS Are there any fish showing at home yet?
