Fish on Portland

I have just taken the dogs for a walk along east cliff at Cheyne on Portland and seen a grey seal catching loads. I couldn't see what bait he was using though!!! There are some very big waves and strong tides coming in from the southeast, I guess that they are pushing the fish into the shore. During the time that I watched the seal it had several silver fish which I guess were schoolie bass.
Maybe it's time to have a go a a spot of fishing from the cliffs.

Bet that was windy on Portland today. Went flyfishing at Sutton Bingham reservoir today & could hardly stand up in some of the gusts . Even had white horses waves. Nice to see fish being caught though, even if it is by seals. Might be time to get the plugging gear out.
