Used to be good digging down that way years ago.....mind you i havnt dug there for ages? loved fishing there for flounders and schoolies on light gear and even had a smut a few years back! Good luck mate!

Greenheart........river not to far away which i'll be putting some traps up when i get the chance and also a very productive beach that can produce enough crabs to fish the whole season if you time it right

digging was pretty dire mate! just about got a handful of littluns!
recon about enuff for an hour! beutiful night tho slight breez and a big full moon! gana have a go, should blow the cob webs away!
probly gana get down to prime tommorow and bye some lug in!
had a chat with a couple of the local commercial lads and they recon thers a good few bass about and flattys! most of em only fish out as far as the tide line in ther wooden dingys so fingers crossed!

anyway cheers to all the lads that preyed for no weed! nice one its clear as a bell!

sorry to hear the digging didn't go to well mate, if i had of known you were planning on a trip i could of probably of told you the best place to dig as one of my mates is one of the diggers for prime and he has to get stacks and i mean stacks!! lol he out digs me three to one......git!!

also had a walk down to the beach at high this after and the water looked fantastic! looks like a flatie or two could come your way tonight. hope you get on ok tonight and maybe soon we should meet up and fish a local beach eh?

gana bail at 11 and fish the tide up for an hour and half an hour down, depends how the bait holds up realy! its freezing out ther so the trusty hip flask is gana be a must! bloody handy living 5mins walk from the sea!

cheers mate just got back! the lack of bait let me down as i was getting knocks all over the place! seems the fish ar as hungry arfter a long winter as i am to catch em! cracking hour tho! just good to hear the waves! and look at the stars! no weed or hook ups, casting was ok for a 5month absence of the multiplier, only one miner birds nest sorted in 5 secs flat!

no i bloody didnt!!! 2 tax disc flattys on the scratching carp rod rig (to my US mate thats a flounder/plaice the size of a tea soucer) nothing on the bass rod and mackrel head, but cant moan as that ones like the lottery and as they say you have to be in it to win it! really only down ther until the lug worm run out and have to say it felt like 5 mins!

well charged for tommorow night as im just gana go bye some decent lug
and some peeler if thers any in and hit it!
i think the beach casting bug has hit again big time
hopfully a more productive report for tommorow night!
