| whats your favorite fishing months and why? I love it when the days start to get shorter and it starts to get dark around 9ish! The sole and bass fishing get really good here on the IOW. So around august you cant keep me away from my fave spot! Do you like sitting on a rocky out crop in your shorts,or gales and rain in your face fishing for cod? I like somwere in between      |

| Re: whats your favorite fishing months and why? yes im a inbetweenie too! i also love the isle of wight for fishing.. maybe i can get a holiday over there and you can show me some good spots? i love that island caught my only shore caught turbot there once  __________________ fishing for fish is not as simple as you may think! |

 Re: whats your favorite fishing months and why? Summer & early autumn, Rockhopping with a spinning rod & a pocket full of plugs, spinners & redgills.  You never know what will grab hold next. Bass, mackies, garfish, pollock & even wrasse. When the water is clear you can watch the fish chasing the lure. Even had a big Tope follow a redgill in once  . Good thing it did'nt grab it though, as I was fishing from a 60 foot cliff!!! | Re: whats your favorite fishing months and why? i would say my favourite month would be october .now this is because the carp are feeding up for the winter and some big girls get caught and its also time for my favourite species too ZANDER but with my limited experience with sea fishing well ok then no experience  but i would say june as i feel it would be a good time for bass tightlines kev  |
