 making weights my mates in an air rifle club recons he's got 40+lb lead shot and i've picked up a weight mould cheap any help would be appreciated as completely new ground to me cheers __________________ www.exmouthsaa.co.uk 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day simples You won't know unless you go...and if you do go please let us know :D     |

| Re: making weights 4o+lbs?....i shoot airguns and believe me thats alot of pellets there. Never thought about that option. Might have to pay a visit down the the station range and see what lead i can...ahem....'borrow' :) |

| Re: making weights hi, i've tried the lead mould routine...forget it!! Its easier - Quicker - Cleaner and a lot less smellier to go to the local tackle shop and purchase them. They're not that expensive and esides a lot of tackle shops are struggling and the need our help. In return all the tackle shops l go to give FREE advice and help about fishing in the area, and areas to avoid. __________________ It is better to have fished and caught nothing, than never fished at all. When a son starts realising that his father was right, he already has a son who thinks he is wrong!! |

| Re: making weights John Marshall makes all the weights for the carnage crew and has quite a good set up. if you have a supply of free lead and could get one or two mates together you could save a lot of money maybe you should pm John he's realy good at it. |

| Re: making weights i had ago at making a paper weight out of lead once, used a sand cast and then half a baked bean can with a make shift handle and then a blow torch have to be very quick pooring it cause otherwiese it starts to set __________________ Bens The Name And Catchings The Game Anti the Anti's |
