Newhaven Arm- Not closing!!

I don't know if anyone had heard, but there were rumours that fishing on the harbour arm and pier were going to be banned by the ports owners (French). Well I've just been on the phone to Newhaven Angler and it appears they have reversed their decision and will only close the arm and pier when maintenance is being carried out - phew!! I hope they finally get round to putting a fence up, I've been nearly blown the side more than once

Re: Newhaven Arm- Not closing!!

Good news then mate!! mind you i never fished the arms anyway but its always good to know its there for fishing if need be. glad there not closing it cause that may of had a knock on effect to tide mills which i wouldn't be to happy about as i fish there for golden Grey's and its quite a quiet beach to fish as most anglers go on the arm!!

Yeah, leave the tinsel-tossers on the arm! Saying that, I've had some great night sessions at Newhaven. Hopefully we'll get down to Seaford this year

Will have to do it this year mate......dont know what happened to last year.....it all seamed to go far to quick for me so i didn't get half the fishing in that wanted!! will have to arrange a trip down to tide mills later in the mullet season when there feeding up and catch a few......when there on the feed there you could land 10 or more Goldie's on a good day!!
