Black Bream & Sweetcorn.

Read an article a while back about someone who was boat fishing & who chucked a half eaten pot noodle containing sweetcorn overboard. Shortly afterwards he caught a Black bream that coughed up a load of corn. He put a bit on his hook & promptly hooked another bream. I was watching some guy floatfishing off Ryde pier on the Isle of Weight last summer & he must have been fishing over a shoal of bream because he was catching a fish a chuck. Been thinking about this & I've been wondering if bream would respond to loosefeeding corn in the same way that coarse fish do when you spray bait around your float using a catapult. Anybody got any thoughts on this theory or has anyone tried anything similar. I recon it would work, as most fish are opportunist feeders.

Yep i m pretty sure it would as ive mentioned before ive had bass on chicken skin,sausage,bacon,bread,spam,cheese etc

Anyway i think you may catch bream on sweatcorn
I tell you what pop down to southsea pier in july and we ll have a comp to see exactly what we can catch bream on.
I knew a bloke once who caught a Halibut on a westlers hotdog.

whilst on holiday in cornwall last summer i had a few hours trying to catch a mullet on breadflake from the quayside.
i was totally wiped out by miniature black bream,they just loved the bread,
never did get a mullet !
