| thinking of having a try Hi all, been sometime away from the site and I am thinking of having ago at catching something over the weekend around exmouth way, does anyone have any input on best place, time, rig and bite. please. all is anyone planning to have ago and would not mind if I tag along, please let me know terry     |

| Re: thinking of having a try i would have a drive by and check the conditions first dave... winds gonna blow from the north east fairly stiffly the next couple days it may make it a tad lumpy! not to mention weed and stuff  __________________ fishing for fish is not as simple as you may think! |

| Re: thinking of having a try Well, having bought more bait than you can shake a stick at, I told the missus that I'd be out fishing probably 2 nights on the trot. Imagine my surprise when instead of the verbal lashing I was expecting, I got an "okay hun. Just don't be too late." What's going on thinks I??? Has she seen the forcast? Does she know something that I don't??? Has she been kidnapped by aliens, and replaced with a robot? Anyhoo, after getting a response like that, I have learned not to ask stupid questions and just to keep stum. It's for the best. So I shall be out tonight, and probably tomorrow night as well. Drove past Budleigh beach yesterday afternoon about 5:30pm and yeah, it wasn't exactly flat as a mill pond, but I think it was fishable. God knows about the weed though. Only one way to find out.
