casting

hello
has any one got any tips on how to improve my casting with a multiplier rod and reel i can cast about 100yds with it .the rod is a daiwa tdss 12ftma and the reel is daiwa 7ht. i also have a shakespeare xk4000 fixed spool rod and reel which i can cast just as far if not a little more .
or do you think that is far enough and that i should concentrate on my fishing rather than my casting
