 Gutted I aint gonna be able to make it to Chesil men, i am well gutted. Me car has been playing up for a while and i got some one to have a look this morning and i have a cracked cylinder head and he advises not to drive it. I hope you all have a wicked time and make sure you organise another one soon.     |

| Re: Gutted I aint got that far yet, me mate is gonna see if he can find a scrap car and do a swap. But i might have to get rid of it and get a little run about just for a while. I hate cars to expensive for me. |

| Re: Gutted Trying to run that is, Its a renault espace worst move i have ever made mate the clutch has gone the altenator the back box fell off and now this. Think i mite just get it up and runnin and get shot of it. |

| Re: Gutted Renault are quite expensive when it comes to labour. I had a problem with my car recently (Vauxhall), and it cost me serious £'s to fix!! A big chunk of that was down to the first garage not getting it right in the first place. Then the car needed 4 new tyres and 245 x 45 x 17's aint cheap. In the last 6 weeks it's had a new distributor pack, 2 sets of new ignition leads, new catalytic converter on one side, 4 new tyres and 2 injectors and a new secondary air intake hose... The first leads fitted were not genuine parts and the injectors were OK, the diagnostics was wrong. The misfire broke up the cat. TIP, if your car has catalytic converters and you have a misfire get it fixed IMMEDIATELY! My car has two cats and to replace just one cost £400  Cracked head shouldn't be a complete rebuild Paul. They might be able to salvage the cams and lifters and just put it into a new head with new bearings. It's the labour that kills you, not the parts. __________________ Back to the fizzy pop league for another season |

| Re: Gutted sounds expencive this is why i recon you should either get cheap cars and just replace them when they go wrong or save up and buy a decent car (which shouldnt go wronge) having said that, we have 2 mercades both of which have gone wronge, 1 just kept on stoping and the other is a 4.3l and should fly but it dont go as fast as it should do __________________ Bens The Name And Catchings The Game Anti the Anti's |
