New Proposals - Urgent Attention

Firstly may I suggest you read the thread about Exmouth on this section detailing information about the BASS programme and the benefits of joining the society - and the proposals that will help our system.

Secondly and to link to that particular thread there is an article in TSF this month for the proposals that are being put forward for the increase in sizes for bass - the increase in this and the nett mesh size will certainly help us all.

The article rightly points out that we as sea anglers are quite often apathetic and do not do that much to try and back campaigns.

Well it got me thinking and I for one have filled out the letter in the front of the magazine and sent it to the fisheries minister - I want this proposal to become law and for us to challenge the poxy commercial fishermen who are ruining the fishing for us and future generations !

Thats about it chaps - I hope many of you will join the campaign and become a member of the programme and if not at least get TSF and send the form back supporting the proposals.

I would'nt mind writing but I point blank refuse to purchase rubbishy fishing magazines.

This Forum gives me all the fishing advice that I need without purchasing magazines.

i agree with the proposal too.

in the local comps we've been fishing to 41 cm for years now. a good idea for the net sizes too, every little helps.
