are there gar in anywhere?

theres none here really just people pullin in the odd 1

iv seen 3 so far all year normally i could get around 10 in a day this time of year

i'm pretty sure they take feathers, and it helps if they're baited with macky strip, but not sure


and i know no reports round here yet, but there will be a report tomorrow in paper

we.ve had them on mackerel feathers and on the bream rigs we also float fish for them with the bait being 3-4 ft down so the gulls can't get at it. 1/0-2/0 hooks with small squid strips.

yes mate no probs I've devised a clip on rig that fits in with our method of fishing so that I can carry it around pre made just ready to bait up clip on and throw out.
