Just an idea, when wrecking or fishing on the drift a sphere should drop faster
and straight as the pressures equal alround????? plus being round they should
not snag as easy as a weight with flat sides. Dont fancy them for bottom fishing tho.

The coming season will tell........

Question Re: Ball Weights

Bit of constuctive criticism,no offence meant, but will it not roll around and snag the other guy's tackle as well. After all there might be 10 on the boat, and tangles happen even with experienced anglers using the same weight and type of leads.

Whoops,just re-read post.Sorry.

John Marshall

Having email problems at mo but can get onto this site but cannot read any PM's. Can you resend your PM on the forum and I will be able to read it. Been told the IT guys are looking into the problem but do not know when they will have it fixed. Technology is great when it works, really messes you up when it's shagged.

Re: Ball Weights

I know I sound like a Do-it rep....but see these http://www.do-itmolds.com/products/s...on_ball_sinker
Barlows tackle, http://www.barlowstackle.com/ in Texas, seems to have the best prices. Netcraft, http://www.jannsnetcraft.com/ will have them too.
Also see the dealer locator on the Do-it site, theres one in Eastbourne.
