fishing the doors at whitburn

could any body tell me where to fish at the doors at whitburn. also the best times also any other good spots around that area.

look for the two poles that stick up at the rocks (whitburn steel), this is what the boats use to guide them into the beach, otherwise known as the doors...

you bin fishing recently. i was out this nyt n a got 3 codling for 9lb biggest 4lb from the point

I fished Ryhope on Saturday night, started off at the Manholes and moved further along the beach as the tide flooded. Had 7 codling, biggest was 5Lb. 11oz, had another 3 at 3 and a half ish, 2 over 4Lb. and 1 around 2lb. - was a good session, but lost a couple of fish too. Then as high water approached, the whiting came on, so called it a night...
