Any fish?Any where?

Well for me its that time of year, scratching about catching virtualy nowt in the false hope that some big lost fish will chance upon my limp washed out cant be arsed to wind in bait.
But someone somewhere will be catching fish ,so come on spill the beans and let us all know if theres fish been caught in your area.
Somewhere must be fishing well.
Ive heard dover breakwater is fishing well for cod,any other places?
My entry is eastney beach for rockling up to 4oz,,,,beat that.

Re: Any fish?Any where?

thats 1 big rockling
R. hamble is starting to fill up with some flounders, seen plenty caught, and there are still some bass there as well
from what i hear there are still whiting, pout and the odd dogie coming off most beach's after dark, its hit and miss though
still the odd codling as well i am starting to think that this fish is made up though
bass fishing has died off from beach's, although there are still some about
hope this helps john

anyway, its almost the festive season, no time for fishing, too much eating and drinking to fit in

Question Re: Any fish?Any where?

I'd be really happy with some flounder, been taking a novice mate out & want to see him catch some fish soon before he lose's interest. Anyone got any suggestions? Been thinking of Weston shore or the Hamble, both of which I have never fished before, or maybe Poole harbour.

big guy is on a distinguished road
Re: Any fish?Any where?

in kent there are bucket loads of whiting from walmer castle area (deal). should be some codling and a few bass still swimming around on the rougher ground. the admiralty pier at dover (preferably at night) is fishing it's nuts off at the mo, there's everything from pout to codling.

how the hell can you not go completely mad when you don't wet a line for over the months?
