advise needed please.

hello all. i have recently aquired a cjr 14 fishing boat, but unfortunatly i know nothing about boats, the equipment, or even sea fishing. i have ploughed through all of the numerous problems i have had with both the outboard engines, as it seems that my boat is water shy, and does not want to play ball, when in the water, fortunatly i have only tried the local canal so far. and not the sea. i was wondering if anyone out there could please point me in the right direction to a diagram of how to set up the anchor to the boat, as at the moment it is just layed in my garden. i have looked into some boating courses for the knew year, so who knows, i may learn something. any imfo would be great. p.s my knowledge of computers, e-mails and the internet, is even worse than my knowledge about boats, so please be patient. tony mcculloch.

I hope the boat you purchased is not the 14ft Dejhon. I had one many years ago and it was totaly unsuitable but for the calmest of waters. I was fortunate not to be in davy joanes locker as ended up trading it in within 2 months of ownership
